The video begins by explaining what code snippets are and why they might be needed. Then shows how to connect a real estate website template to a Facebook advertising account using a Facebook pixel code snippet.
***Here are the steps involved:
1- Copy the Facebook pixel code from your Facebook advertising account.
2- Go to the back end of your WordPress website and make sure the Astra Builder is activated.
3- Go to the Astra Pro modules tab and activate the Astra Builder.
4- Go to the Side Builder tab and click "Create New."
5- Choose "Code Snippet" as the type of hook.
6- Enable the code editor of the Side Builder.
7- Give the snippet a name, such as "Facebook Pixel."
8- Paste the Facebook pixel code into the editor.
9- Choose "Hooks" under the Custom Layout settings.
10- Choose "WP Head" for the action to add the code to the header section of your website.
11- Choose "Entire Website" to display the code on all pages.
12- Choose "All Users" to display the code to all users.
13- Click "Publish" to publish the snippet.
14- Test the installation using the Meta Pixel Chrome extension.
You can use the same process to install other types of third-party code snippets, such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Advertising.
