Awesome new features in GoPro Quik app ! Lens tool + 360 Horizon Lock !!!
GoPro has introduced 2 new features to their GoPro Quik app on android and IOS that can help select the best field of view for your scene and stabilize your horizon level in full 360 degrees.
If you are not sure which field of view to use , whether you should use Wide, Linear , Superview or Hyperview then Lens tool is can help you decide after you got the shot. You don't have to worry so much about the perfect setting and focus more on capturing nice content.
360 Horizon lock feature has been previously only available within the camera. You had to use Linear + Horizon Lock setting and commit yourself to record with it. Now 360 Horizon Lock is available in GoPro Quik app and can be easily enabled though it crops in on your image quite a bit.
Both Lens tool and Horizon lock are only compatible with GoPro Hero 11 Black and Hero 11 Black Mini, unfortunately if you have older camera model thats not gonna work with your camera.
