Also, I spent my entire afternoon and night writing this ten-page paper; be grateful that I chose to not go to sleep when this came out at 11PM, lol. It's now over 8:30AM and I am actually on my last reserves of energy.
About this cover: man, Eula's theme really slaps! Heroic and flowing, just like the character.
After two hours of constant takes, my stamina and my short term memory capacity began to drop like a rock tied to a bodybag. As a result, I dropped a lot of my more complicated ideas in favor of a cleaner performance. Overall, I'd give this a solid 8/10 on my part; not as clean nor as pretty as my Rosaria trailer cover, which is still my gold standard as far as speedrunning trailers goes, but still pretty good for a few hours of grinding (still the first live cover!). Editing takes far longer these days, when I want the video and color grading to look good along with the audio.
Oh yeah, the bar jazz thing at the beginning actually made me sweat, because ~dissonant chords~ and ~my brain~ aren't exactly a match made in heaven. As you can probably tell, I gave up trying to be accurate and just did my own groove. Turns out it wasn't as difficult as I imagined. Maybe I should drop out and practice my cocktail jazz at nightclubs to get better at this.
