If you want to analyse a complex sample to identify proteins as an example, you probably come across Mass Spectrometry at one moment. Mass Spectrometry aka Mass Spectroscopy or short "Mass Spec" is a powerful tool that measures the mass/charge ratio of molecules. How it works will be explained in this video.
