Grob Egret and Perlan 2 Glider Flybys - EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022
The Perlan Project put on a short display during EAA AirVenture 2022 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Perlan 2 glider was towed aloft by the Grob G-520 Egret before being released for an unpowered landing followed by several flybys from the Grob.
The Perlan 2 glider is custom built for extremely high altitudes and has set numerous altitude records, flying over 74,000 feet - higher than a U-2 Dragon Lady!
