While PDFs aren’t typically a core feature on a website, what if you wanted to extend a feature’s functionality to streamline a user’s experience by generating custom PDFs using Ruby? In this talk, we consider features where this may be applicable, weigh options for generating the PDF, and dive into the Prawn gem to create a document.
Stephanie Wiggins is a developer with a background in design. She appreciates writing code in order to create intuitive user experiences as well as linking arms with others to learn and grow together.
