As I said in the video, it all depends on the size & length of your desirable skirt. Anyway, below are some references that may help you estimate how much yarn you’ll need to buy. The unit is in meters. You can find meter info on the yarn label, which is more reliable than grams, 'cuz different types of yarn weigh differently!
• Mini / Micro skirt (11-12 inches long)
S~310m; M~370m; L~430m and so on
• Knee-length skirt
S~650m; M~750m; L~850m and so on
