Using SQL queries to automate processes in InfoWorks ICM
InfoWorks ICM supports the use of SQL's to populate data in models. However, the same SQL techniques can also be used to automate a number of other functions in the software, such as the process of creating Scenarios from a base network. This tutorial shows the steps required to create an SQL to produce three different scenarios from a base network and also demonstrates how individual SQL's can be grouped in the database and then run as a pre-defined sequence, automating a series of otherwise manual and potentially time consuming processes.
