Quick Steps to Test Oxygen Sensor (O2 Sensor)
This video shows you how to test the heater element in an oxygen sensor. You need a multimeter (digital preferred). Set the multimeter dial to ohms and probe the similar color wires. In this video, they are the two black wires. If the heater element in the o2 sensor is bad or broken, you will not get any reading of resistance on your meter.
