Escape from Tarkov 2020 BEST FOV Setting for Beginners Patch 0.12!
Welcome back to Escape from Tarkov. In this video I'm going to be talking to you about the best FOV settings you can have in 2020 for beginners in patch 0.12. There are negatives and positives to any FOV setting you use because of how this game works. You have a slider that ranges from 50-75 and having it on 50 which is default is going to make your targets easier to see so you can land more shots but it's going to increase the risk of motion sickness, getting headaches and you'll see less of your surroundings alongside a slightly lower FPS. Not only that but if you enjoy using scopes then a vignette is placed around the edge of the scope on a low FOV.
At the other end of the spectrum if you're playing on 75 then the scope vignette will disappear, you'll actually get a tiny bit more FPS, the motion sickness will dull down if that's happening and you'll see more of your surroundings at the cost of it being harder to hit your targets because they're a lot smaller in your sights and there are some hit registration problems in the game for things like red dot sights. I would recommend starting at around 55-60 and take it up from there until you find the sweet spot but let me know your thoughts in the comments, I hope you enjoy the video :D
