In this video series, we are creating a 2D Top-Down Shooter Game that allows the player to be able to move their mouse and point at incoming that is spawning around the world. This is a very simple game that can be completed in less than 2 hours. We are exploring a number of topics such as mouse events and specifically how to make the player to always face where the mouse is pointing, simple collision detection using the collider components, spawning enemies, adding sounds, and adding scores.
