[LESSON 3: HOW TO CROP AND STRAIGHTEN AN IMAGE AND ENLARGE THE CANVAS]
With this tutorial, you'll learn:
How to use the CROP tool to:
• crop an image;
• straighten an image.
Add canvas to your document for more space.
📌 How to crop and straighten an image
• Select the Crop tool in the Tools panel. A cropping box appears.
• Drag any side or corner to adjust the size and shape of the cropping box.
• Drag the cursor in the cropping box to position the image within it.
• Drag the cursor outside a corner of the cropping box to rotate or straighten the image.
• Click the check mark in the options bar or press Enter (Windows) or Return (macOS) to complete the crop.
📌 How to change the canvas size
• Choose Image --- Canvas Size.
• To add a canvas, enter the desired width and height. Measure the width and height in pixels for online use and in inches for print.
• Select Relative and then choose an anchor point in the canvas diagram. The arrows indicate the sides on which the canvas will be added.
• Click OK.
