Multi View lets you watch what's on The Frame and your mobile on the same screen at the same time, or show two different HDMi sources or even your cable feed and YouTube.
This feature works amazingly well, though it is a bit weird to get set up and adjust.
To access Multi View press the Home button on the remote, and then select Multi View, which looks like three rectangles with a plus symbol in the middle. There’s also a one-touch multiview button right on the remote.
First you’ll choose your content: From the menu select your first source.
Then you’ll see a double box pop up.
Click on the other of the two windows where content can be viewed using the cursor keys, then click the big ok button on the remote. That will give you a menu to choose your next source; it can be cable, streaming, your game console.. whatever.
If one of your sources is already connected to the TV you can access that by choosing the “select app/source” option. If it’s youTube for example, you can then go in and choose your specific video.
If one of the things you want to watch is coming from your smartphone, like your Twitter or instagram feed, the next thing you’ll need to do is turn on screen mirroring on your phone. Once you do that, The Frame will see it and open it in one of the windows. You can also choose smartphone as one of the first options when you start the multiview process.
Once you’ve got your sources chosen you can adjust the size of your windows and move them around. Make one bigger or smaller, or even up the sizes. You can also use picture in picture, layering your social feed right over a TV show for example.
You can choose the Smart View/Screen mirror button on Android mobile or the Airplay button from an iOS device. You can also Mirror your Laptop or PC screen if your computer supports this feature.
Multi View also give you the option of choosing whether the audio is heard from the smaller screen or the main screen —or both .
Whichever video you have the cursor box on will be your audio output.
VONow that you’ve got your two sources, you can adjust their sizes: or use split screen view to see both screens equally. You can also choose Picture in Picture, where you can place the smaller window in any of the 4 corners.

Sound Distribution: Select this option to hear the audio from both screens at once. The TV and external device speakers will play sound simultaneously.OCI will say you’ve got a tonne of options here with Multi View; different screen sizes, different display options, different sources. I highly recommend playing with the Multi View feature to get a feel for it as there’s almost so many options it can be overwhelming.
