Erosion - Generative Dark Ambient (One Hour)
Erosion is a sleep/meditation intended piece generated with a Pure Data (https://puredata.info/) patch that blends :
real-time additive and FM synthesis
granular processing
field recordings
and simple FX processors
Various stochastic controls drive the pitches, timbral properties, blend of field recordings and the overall mix.
The system is quite primitive for now but already able of producing a variety of textures with smooth transitions.
No human input/control needed and the audio output is unedited. There’s a touch of post-process (EQ, touch of reverb, leveling).
