This "Front Support Teeter Totter" drill is used to teach gymnasts how to properly fall forward during the beginning of a front hip circle. Falling properly is important, because it helps gymnasts generate the power needed to rotate fully around the bar!

This drill comes from our full "30:00 Front Hip Circle Class" with Coach Emma, and is available on our YouTube! Check it out for awesome tips, cues, and drills for both gymnasts and coaches.

CLASS TOPICS + DRILLS COVERED:
1. Front Hip Circle Positioning / Shaping
2. Candlestick Roll to Front Support
3. Press to Pike Support
4. Seated Bounce to Front Support
5. Front Support Fall with Heel Drive
6. Front Support Stem Rise
7. Slow Motion Front Hip Circles
8. Fast Motion Front hip Circles

ABOUT THE CLASS:
"We had an incredible morning with Coach Emma as she held a front hip circle clinic for our Level 3 gymnasts.

It was amazing to see the progress each girl made in less than an hour, and SO exciting to watch as Lexi and Jayden landed their first front hip circles by themselves!

Coach Emma did an incredible job communicating with the group, helping them to understand each of the drills so the girls felt confident knowing how to practice the individual pieces of the front hip circle.

We are so thankful for the knowledge, experience, and excitement Coach Emma brings to Koko and our Level 3 Team - THANK YOU!"
