The "Unrepairable" Display- Not what I expected! | "Dead" Divoom Pixoo 64
I bought this Divoom Pixoo 64 as a 'spares or repairs' from eBay. The seller said it was working fine until one day the screen went completely blank, leaving only a red power LED.
They tried a few things to get it going but gave up and bought a new one.
In this video, we go through a full diagnostic gauntlet! Checking the power rails with a multimeter, hunting for hot spots with the thermal camera, and finally breaking out the oscilloscope to see if there's any 'life' left in the processor. What I found was a very strange digital fault that required a 'donor' device to solve!
