Review: A 6-Speed M2 CS Brings Back That Old BMW Magic On The Tail Of The Dragon
BMW brought back some of the brand's old principles for the one-year-only 2020 M2 CS. A step above the M2 Competition thanks to adaptive suspension and adjustable drive modes, plus lots of carbon fiber to shave weight, the M2 CS hews closer to the nimble handling and confident balance of the legendary #E36 and #E46 M3 generations than most of the enormous, bloated, straight-line monsters coming out of Bavaria these days.
Adding a six-speed stick shift controlling a 444-horsepower turbocharged inline-six makes the M2 CS a perfect car to take out on North Carolina's famous Tail of the Dragon.
