Grammatico Vintage Series Tweed Champ 5F1 demo
Here's a phone demo recording of the first in the new Vintage Series precise replica of 50's era Fender tweed amps. This is of a Champ style 5F1 circuit amp that has a single 12AX7 preamp tube, a single 6V6 power tube for 5 watts and a 5Y3 rectifier. The speaker is an 8" with an alnico magnet made by Weber. This style of amp was used on countless classic recordings. It has a surprising amount of versatility given it's simple design with just 1 knob that serves for both power on and volume control.
