The ULTIMATE Gaming Display Showdown QDOLED Vs RGB TANDEM OLED
Today, I showcase TANDEM OLED vs QD OLED. LG 27GX700A vs Samsung Odyssey OLED G80SD. Which is brighter? Does Tandem OLED really make a difference. Should I return my QD OLED monitor and buy a Tandem OLED? I hope to answer some of these questions today.
While the Peaks of 1,500nits can be easily seen on Tandem OLED... the overall brightness is still King on QD OLED. It really depends on the scene or game as each monitor handles it differently. While I love both... I can say QD OLED is still a safer buy for the overall picture.
If you need Peak Brightness or play pixel art games or are a creator that needs a more natural image on everything then the Tandem OLED is a better buy. Also, Console HDR just works perfect on Tandem OLED LG 27GX700A. While the Samsung Odyssey G80SD looked a bit washed when compared side by side.
