Jon in prison! Liz marries Eddie Gourmand! Garfield adopts Nermal! Well, Samuel W. Underburger certainly doesn't do comedy. Watching Liz and Jon playing a very bad soap opera scene from his script, Garfield decides that enough is enough and goes and visits the writer in his office upstairs. That man hasn't laughed ever since he was eight plus he has written Odie out because he doesn't like dogs! Garfield definitely needs to teach him what funny is and make him laugh! But try as he may - funny faces, Groucho Marx's glasses, doctor/patient jokes, Eddie Gourmand's pies in the face...- he just fails every single time. Oh...what about a replay of that banana peel scene that made him laugh a good couple of decades ago?
