So here is your scenario.
You are the first astronaut to set foot on mars. The whole world, in fact, is watching you now. As you walk across a giant crater, you spot— out of the corner of your eye-- something incredible. You can not believe what you see. The world, however, may not be ready for this information. You head back to your spacecraft and tell the crew what you saw. They are shocked. You must go back, they say.
Now it is your turn to finish this story. You have seven minutes to write. When you are finished, turn in your story. A teacher or designated student will read the stories, and the class will guess who wrote them.
