Comparing the highest DPS Rocket Launchers in Witch Queen
I tested the DPS in depth of some legendary rocket launchers with Gjallarhorn's Wolfpack Rounds going into Witch Queen. Rockets have the potential to be meta for DPS.

For testing I mention in the video that I decided to assume that each rocket has 0 travel time to remove velocity as an external variable. For almost all intents and purposes this will not significantly skew the DPS, because no matter how long the rockets take to hit the boss, you'll still be dealing the same amount of damage in the same amount of time.
The DPS numbers in this video will not be 100% exact but will be very close. With rocket launchers there is human error with how fast you can press the reload button after each shot, but I assumed for the error to be equal across all reloads and weapons so as to ultimately cancel out between them. I included these errors in the calculations because realistically you're not going to perfectly reload every single time.
The reason I use the Ogre for damage numbers:
Each enemy class (minor, major, boss, etc.) has a different "damage reduction" value for different amounts of damage. Essentially, a weapon that does twice the damage of another weapon on a major, will not necessarily do twice the damage of that other weapon on a boss. In other words, the relative damage numbers from that Lost Sector boss on Nessus (which is actually a major) will not translate directly to an actual Boss enemy.
The Wrathborn bosses are the most readily accessible boss enemies I could find, and after some testing, I found that their "damage profile" matches that exactly with a raid boss, and presumably with any other boss in the game. Unfortunately they are getting sunset in Witch Queen so I will have to find a replacement :(
