Oh boy, I'm kinda really happy with this one? It's terribly AU and it started out as a soulmate AU video, it's still in there if you squint, but it took a life of it's own.
Story rant: After Skye shoots Lucas and he disappears, he's found in a terrible condition days later. He falls into a coma. While Skye does not regret saving Commander Taylor she still struggles to see Lucas like this. She visits Lucas almost everyday, but eventually Commander Taylor tells her to prepare to say goodbye to Lucas forever. Grief striking Skye goes outside the gates but gets into an accident. While unconscious she sees Lucas and experiences the different lives they could have had, had their world and meeting been different. Lucas wants desperately for her to stay, but Skye is very aware that these experiences aren't real. She is found, nursed back to health and starts struggling with staying in her alternate realities with Lucas. (a voice convinces Lucas to wake up as Skye is waiting for him because we all know that's how coma's work right? 😜)
