MISTAKE 1: SKILLING DURING BURST
Skills won't release particles during burst.
MISTAKE 2: AFTER BURST, THEY JUST HAVE NORMAL ATK
Plunge does more damage than just normal and charged ATK.
MISTAKE 3: JUMPS OUT OF THE WAY
Use the combo: Burst - Jump - Plunge - Normal ATK - Jump - Plunge - Normal ATK

MISTAKE 5: CONFUSION WITH ARTIFACTS
Substats are more important than artifact choices.

Note: For Sands, although to ensure continuous burst, it does require a decent ER of around 130% to 140%, don't sacrifice Sands for ER, as the damage will decrease drastically. Kokobear recommends Sands ATK%, Anemo Goblet, and Circlet Critical

MISTAKE 6: THE TEAM MISSES A 2ND ANEMO & SHIELD / HEALER
This 2nd Anemo serves as a battery for Xiao, who struggles to charge his burst, as his high burst cost of 70 is difficult to achieve alone. However, you can't be careless when charging his burst using the 2nd Anemo.
Kokobear gives the example of Jean and Xiao. The easiest way is to immediately switch to Xiao after Jean's skill and use it twice. Don't switch characters right away, so the elemental particles generated by Jean's and Xiao's skills are immediately absorbed into Xiao's burst. If the anemo particles are absorbed when Xiao isn't the active character on the field, the energy charged will be multiplied by 0.6, essentially adding less to Xiao's burst.
Kokobear will provide a list of good teams to pair with Xiao, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. First, there's a team with Zhongli, which can provide security for Xiao's jumps.

Second, there's Diona if you don't have Zhongli. However, make sure you pair him with a second Cryo to complement the bursts of these two Cryo characters. Kokobear's favorite is Rosaria, who can provide an additional Crit Rate buff through her burst.

Then, for the third, you can use Double Pyro, which will give you an extra 25% ATK through elemental resonance. However, be careful if you don't use Thoma; Xiao is very vulnerable to death if you encounter an enemy that can deal massive damage in one go.
Specifically for Double Pyro, Kazuha is only suitable because he can Pyro Swirl, which reduces the enemy's Pyro Resistance by 40%, allowing the double Pyro team to receive additional damage from pyro attacks.
For Venti, Kokobear doesn't recommend him because Venti's burst lifts enemies upward, making it difficult for Xiao to attack flying enemies.

Finally, there's the Raiden team. This team isn't for those of you who are just starting out with your Raiden build or haven't yet completed it. If your Raiden C0 already uses Engulfing or the Capture, as well as the artifacts Kokobear explained in the video above, this Xiaoden team is very effective in overcoming Xiao's burst charging issues. It also provides good rotation, where the Xiaoden team will deal massive damage continuously to enemies, making it very useful in the Spiral Abyss.
