This video demonstrates the interfacing of an Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) with the 8085 microprocessor using the 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface (PPI) on the ET-8085AD LCD trainer kit.
The experiment illustrates how continuous analog signals can be converted into digital data that can be processed by a microprocessor. The ADC used in this experiment is the ADC0809, an 8-bit successive approximation converter capable of representing 256 discrete voltage levels.
Experiment performed in the Microprocessors Laboratory, Department of Physics, IIT Roorkee.
