Learn how to create an encrypted local backup of your LockYit vault and save a copy to a location of your choice.
LockYit is a local-first, zero-knowledge vault for your passwords, financial data, identities, notes, and tasks. Everything is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM, LockYit never sees your master password or vault contents, and nothing lives in the cloud.

Deleting a backup is permanent. Make sure you no longer need a backup file before removing it from the Local Backups list.
