PS5 Helldivers 2 Black Screen on booting WORKAROUND!
Ever since update "MACHINERY OF OPPRESSION: 6.1.2"
Sony's "PS5 Low Energy Mode" update, my game was unable to boot properly, always getting stuck on a black screen.
After following all troubleshooting steps provided on the official discord server and by ArrowHead support on a ticket to no avail, I have found this workaround to force the game to boot on the console.
ArrowHead support tells me there's nothing wrong with their game and that the problem must be on my console, even though every other game works just fine. Their best suggestion was to "test on a different PS5 console", as if everyone has a dozen spares lying around or to factory reset my console. Yeah, no.
Do better ArrowHead , fix your game.
