Reason 11 doesn't play nice with others 🙅🏼♂️ **Testing Maschine 2 in Reason**
Today I thought I would try using Native Instruments Maschine Mk III in Reason. The plan was to come up with some ideas in the stand alone Maschine application, then route and record the parts into Reason using the same workflow I've gotten used to using in Ableton. From there I'd chop and arrange the parts into a beat (like I did in my last video). Sounds simple enough, right?
What this turned into was a lesson in patience and a case study of why having to 'fight' with your tools will ultimately cause you to lose your passion for music. I was DONE for the evening after recording this video.
This is my unfiltered first impression of using Maschine in Reason 11. Unless Reason Studios is able to significantly improve their routing options, I won't be trying it again... 💩
