The Most Beautiful Waterfall In The South.
For this video, I traveled to Dawson County Georgia for one of the most beautiful waterfalls you'll ever see. Amicalola Falls is 729 feet tall and has seven cascades. It's situated right at the very beginning of the Appalachian Mountains which stretches all the way to Maine. Amicalola is roughly translated to "Tumbling Water" in Cherokee dialect. I highly encourage anyone traveling through Georgia to stop here and even better, if you move to the state of Georgia, place it on your to-do list. The hike to the waterfall is doable for children but the hike above the watefall is quite strenuous.
