This song started as an improv I did while my mom's dog Cooper fell asleep on the couch, hence the name. Ironically, this is some of the loudest I'll play on the album. Something about 3/4 just energizes me.Perhaps it's because 3/4 an easier groove to feel than 4/4. Anyway, I think there is some really sick stuff going on in this one in the low end so I think it's worth listening to with headphones if you can. I'm interested to see if people like this video as it's so far my least favourite I've recorded for the album. Something about it just doesn't sit right, but I've made a rule about what take I use and this one needs to be the take. Otherwise I'll 100 takes over 12 months and never get anything done.
