add HWIC-2T Card first power off of router
1 hostname IT
2 copy running-config start
3 int serial0/1/0
4 ip address 12.1.1.1 255.255.255.0 R1
ip address 12.1.1.2 255.255.255.0 R2
5 no shut
this is the basic configuration of giving ip address of router
