In this video, I take a look at the knitted cast on and all its variations. It's a very versatile and easy to learn knitting cast on. You can use it in the middle of a project as well.
It's basically doing a simple knit stitch into a slip knot and then not dropping the stitch as usual but instead, lifting it back on the left needle so you can use it as the basis for another knit stitch.
I also show you how to do the knitted cast on purlwise, and how to avoid the eyelets this cast on tends to create.
