Buttonholes on a Placket // 4 WAYS
In this video, I'll share my knowledge on how to knit buttonholes on a placket. There are many methods, but I'll show you the ones I know.
01:10 Method 1 (from the wrong side) - bind off the required number of stitches with a purl stitch and cast on the same number of stitches using a crochet hook.
06:50 Method 2 (from the wrong side) - purl 2 sts together, yarn over, and knit the yarn over from the right side according to the pattern.
09:21 Method 3 (from the right side) - yarn over from the right side, and from the wrong side, simply drop the yarn over from the knitting needle.
11:38 Method 4 (from the right side) - bind off the required number of stitches with knit stitches, and cast on the same number of chain stitches in the wrong row.
I use methods 1 and 2 most often.
