Variables in Python
As I say in the video. There are many great options that can get you started in Python on VS Code from microsoft. VS Code is free and widely used in the workplace. I will probably eventually move back to VS Code, but for now we will be using replit.com.
Today we are talking about variables, or more precisely, how I think of variables. There are a lot of options in Python for what a variable can be as compared to some other languages.
Casting allows you to change the type of variable so that you can allow variables to interact with each other or, as I forgot to mention in the video, it helps to set the variable type before adding into a third party visualization software like Microsoft Power BI where any reduction in processing should be taken advantage of.
