We are introduced to the great sword master Miyamoto Musashi and the development of kenjutsu or sword schools after the year 1600 in Japan. Professor Takashi Uozumi, is a professor of Japanese martial history and one of Japan’s leading experts on Budo and the life of the swordmaster Miyamoto Musashi. During our interviews, professor Takashi Uozumi was the director of the Budo and Sports Research Institute at the International Budo University in Japan.
