Cant open .xls files (part 1)
“Cannot open the file TEST.XLS because the file format or file extension is not valid. Check that the file is not damaged and that the file extension matches the file format.
What has been tried:
1) Checked opening app for .xls files
2) Sent to colleagues PC - works ok
3) Repaired office
4) Checked File block settings
5) Colleague saved the same file as xlsx and sent back - works ok
6) Checked if file type is actually .xls
7) Tried other .xls files - same issue
What about to try:
1) Reset excel profile
2) Reset excel registy hive
3) Clear office cache
