We present to you the long-awaited online course by Alexander Semenovich Filonenko. At the beginning of the first lecture, Alexander Semenovich talks about his encounter with science. He tells how he envied Isaac Newton in school, not yet knowing who he was. He tells how the mysterious world of scientific discoveries turns into boring lessons that only make you yawn. And he talks about how to breathe life into them and restore your ability to be amazed by simple things.
Lecturer: Alexander Filonenko – theologian, Doctor of Philosophy, lecturer in the Philosophy Department at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, and academician of the Ambrosian Academy (Milan). He is the recipient of the Templeton Foundation Prize for his lecture course "Science and Theology" (The Science and Religion Course Program of the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences (CTNS, USA). He is the author of the books: "Life for Me is Christ: Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh" (2015) and "Ocean of Mystery" (2019).
