Comet 3i Atlas is glowing and moving - I took a picture
Comet 3I/ATLAS — the interstellar visitor — is now glowing and visibly moving across our skies!
Captured by Ray’s Astrophotography on November 7 2025 from Leander, Texas, this rare interstellar comet continues to surprise astronomers with its accelerating trajectory and brightening coma.
In this video, you’ll see real-time imaging of Comet 3I Atlas using a Celestron RASA 11" telescope, ZWO ASI2600MC Pro camera, and Hobym 320 HDX mount.
Processed through Sequence Generator Pro and PixInsight, this footage highlights the comet’s delicate tail, vivid green-blue glow, and subtle movement against the star field — proof of its swift motion through our solar neighborhood.
🪐 This marks only the third interstellar object ever observed after ‘Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov — an incredible cosmic event you don’t want to miss.
