Let's use a TV remote with our microcontroller project!
In this video I demonstrate using an IR sensor to read the pulses of a television remote and map it to button presses.
This is a great beginner microcontroller project since the parts are simple (just a microcontroller, sensor and remote) and you can do it with most any TV remote you have laying around!
It's a great electrical engineering project for kids or teens!
