Legends of Aria is a fully-developed MMORPG that is in the process of moving on-chain. The game will be the ultimate fantasy metaverse, where players can own land, build their own virtual homes, and venture out into a vast world in which they can use a variety of skills to earn virtual assets that can be minted and resold as NFTs.
The game will feature a sustainable one-token economy. In this economy, the Legends of Aria token (or ARIA token) will operate as the governance and main utility token of the game. It will be required for a great deal of processes in the game, and many of these systems will burn the tokens in the process, continually deflating the supply. There is no way to earn the ARIA tokens in the game, aside from winning certain competitions or in-game events, so there is no inflation.
Players can monetize their time by collecting items in the game (like rare weapons and armor), and then selling those items on our upcoming NFT marketplace. Almost all assets in the game, including the deed to a player's house, your characters, and even your tamed pets, can be minted as an NFT and resold on our marketplace.
Due to our existing investment in stable server technologies and our massive head-start over other blockchain MMOs, Legends of Aria has the potential to be the first mainstream 3D blockchain MMORPG on the market. And we envision that, with continued development, we can make Legends of Aria into one of the most successful NFT games in the world!

This upcoming relaunch for LoA will include over 2 years of development on an improved game engine integrating all aspects of gameplay already included in the current iteration of the game, which is now being rebranded as Legends of Aria Classic. In the following pages, we outline all the upgrades that we will be implementing in the new version of the game. These include the addition of an over-the-shoulder 3D camera angle (shown above), many new game features (such as boats, customizable housebuilding, proximity voice chat, new weapons & armor, etc.), as well as a new world map and many blockchain-powered mechanics.
