Dog solves murder in 30 seconds
A German Shepherd named Katie helped solve a murder case in Uttarakhand, India. 21-year-old Shakib Ahmad was found dead with injury marks on his body on March 6, 2023. The police deployed Katie to sniff a blood-stained cloth belonging to Shakib and asked the suspects to stand in a row in front of her for identification. Within 30 seconds, Katie started barking at Shakib's cousin Qasim, suggesting he was the culprit. Qasim confessed to the crime and was subsequently arrested. Kattie has been nominated for the police department's 'best personnel of the month' award.
