I bought leather and split leather gloves for welding, tool use, and housework, and decided to write a review and comparison with full-size gloves. I tried different sizes, and overall, a size M fit me well. My palm is 9 cm wide and my fingers are standard length. Overall, these gloves, for $4-5 (350-400 rubles), are a useful and essential item for rough work. They're a bit short for welding, but they offer good sensitivity. They can be used in the garden, vegetable patches, and as fire gloves.
Split leather is a layer of natural leather obtained during the tannery process by laminating (blading), after the top layer has been removed.
