Stop Wasting Time on Excursions: Exploring Cozumel, Mexico by Scooter
In today’s vlog, we kick off our adventure by heading up to the Lido Deck for a first glimpse of Cozumel as we dock. Once cleared to debark, we explore the cruise port for a bit of shopping before grabbing some food at the Pirates Cave across the street. We opt to not do any excursions, but instead rent a scooter and go exploring Cozumel. The island is huge and there are plenty of places to see, including Playa Mia.
Next up, we rent a scooter to explore the southern half of Cozumel, sharing must-know tips on how to avoid rental scams in another country. We then visit Playa Mia, an all-inclusive beach resort, where we swim and enjoy the amenities. Before leaving, we share prices and make a quick stop at Maya Cacao for some delicious chocolate.
As we continue our scooter journey, we make scenic stops to test out the Skyreat Filters ND filters for the DJI Mini 2. We wrap up our day in Cozumel back at the cruise terminal with our thoughts on this amazing experience. Once aboard the Carnival Valor, we clean up and grab a poke bowl at Sushi at Sea, followed by sunset drinks at the Alchemy Bar and dinner.
