Here are step by step instruction how to check the shutter count on Olympus cameras. This will work for PEN and OM-D digital cameras, as well as compacts, and models made by OM Systems.
The examples cameras used are the Olympus EM-1 and E-PL6.

▶️ Step by step instructions:
1. Hold the MENU button down and turn the camera on.
2. Release the MENU button when the camera is fully on.
3. Press the MENU button again.
4. On the left, scroll to the SETUP MENU, which has the wrench icon.
6. Go to the DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS AND COLOR TEMPERATURE MENU, you can press OK or RIGHT.
7. Press RIGHT, INFO, and then OK
8. A screen that shows the model number of the camera will appear.
9. Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT, SHUTTER, and then UP.
10. Pressing RIGHT will get you to the screen that shows the shutter count.
The shutter count will be displayed on the top line. There are four pages of additional information.
Different camera bodies will have slightly different screen and there can be more or less information displayed.🔚
