In this tutorial, our special guest presenter Ricardo Silva, from SugarFX, gives us a full workflow overview of how to create custom text animation in FCP X and Motion 5.
He starts with simple text animations in Final Cut Pro, showing you how to adjust parameters and quickly graduates into Motion, where he shows you the power of adding, removing and publishing parameters in that you can then adjust inside your Final Cut Project.
At the end of this tutorial, you'll have the knowledge necessary to not only use the built in templates in Final Cut Pro to create some cool looking text animations, but you'll also know how to create your own text templates and effects in Motion and share them with your friends, sell them online, or just use them in your next project.
