How to Recover Your Home Assistant Username & Password Using the CLI
In this video, I'll show you how to recover your Home Assistant username and password using the command-line interface (CLI). If you've forgotten your login credentials, don't worry—it's easy to regain access!
To view authorized users, simply run the following command in the CLI:
auth list
To reset a user's password, use this command line setup
auth reset --username (input user name) --password ( input new password)
without the ( )
