Setting Up Time Machine
If you have not set up Time Machine for your computer backups you can easily do so.
You can use an external drive, such as an SSD card plugged in to your Mac, as your back up disk.
Now open your Mac’s System Preferences.
Click on Time Machine.
Check the option ‘Show Time Machine in menu bar’ so you can always have easy access to Time Machine and its preferences from your Mac’s menu bar.
Next click on the ‘Select Backup Disk’ button and choose your external drive as the disk that you want to back up to.
Time Machine will immediately start backing up your computer to the external drive.

Time Machine will backup your computer periodically so if you ever need to restore an older version of an EverWeb Project File, you can do so whenever you want.
Restoring a backup copy of your Project file is easy...
Before starting this process, please make sure that the project file is not open in EverWeb.
If the project you want to restore is listed in the Projects Window, click on the up/down arrows to the right of the project name.
Select ‘Show on Disk’
The project file will be located and highlighted. Note that when using the Project file in EverWeb, the name used is an Alias for the true file name that is stored on disk.
With the file still highlighted, Press Command+Spacebar.
A Spotlight Search bar appears. Enter Time Machine into the search box and click on ‘Time Machine app’.
Time Machine will open and you can now scroll through the backups to choose the version of the project file that you want to restore.
Click on the project file name then click Restore.
You will be asked if you want to keep the original, keep both the original and restored version or if you want to replace the original version with the restored version.
Choose the option that you require. The file will be restored.
If you already know the name of your project file on disk that you want to restore, just navigate using macOS Finder to its location then activate Time Machine using Spotlight Search.
