A4 vs. A5 Processor Boot-Up Time
This video compares the boot-up time of the A4 Processor (iPod Touch 4th Generation) to the boot-up time of the A5 Processor (iPod Touch 5th Generation). As you may see, the iPod Touch on the left (5th Generation/A5 Processor) booted-up a lot faster than the iPod Touch on the right (4th Generation/A4 Processor). The test were completely fair, with both iPod Touches being booted up after being restored to iOS 6.0.1, wifi/bluetooth being off, and no apps being restored (no apps running during the last turn off).
