Both my grandmothers died of intracerebral hemorrhages. My paternal side had hepatitis C that led to coagulopathic disorder and maternal side had amyloid angiopathy as the cause that has led an emotional longing in me to pursue the field of Neurology. I personally feel that even in situations where you do not have a cure, a good physician can serve.
