Could you both Debbie and Stéphanie, from your experience, share examples on successes on how you have managed to bring UX insights to influence design decisions for C-Suite (executives) to influence product design development decisions for your pool of users?
How to deal when you interview users and doesn't understand/keep the pace of their discourse? I mean, sometimes I am interviewing native english speakers and I struggle to follow them along and always feel quite stuck in the middle of the conversation. And what do you do when you don't understand accents (when interviewing people from India, e.g.) ? Because I feel quite rude when I have to ask people 2 or 3 times "can you repeat, please?"
Debbie, Can you give us specific examples of a "Collaboration" versus a "Design by committee" conversation or how you converted a "Design by committee" conversation into a Collaboration?
So what do you recommend if the research/product team is small? Would you rather invite an outsider as an interviewer to make sure the languages are aligned/considered?
